Amanda will be part of a float in the 65th Annual Halloween Parade in Rutland on Saturday, October 24th (inclement weather date 25th). With 78 entries and over 12,000 participants, this is a massive parade! Amanda has chosen the theme Hunger Games!! There are strict rules for political floats, so we cannot say what office we are promoting, but we can include her name. We are also not allowed to canvass. We do NEED to wear a custom related to the theme! Amanda will be Katniss along with a host of recognizable characters riding on the float. We need you to come as Capital Citizens, or March as people from the Districts!!

When: We will begin lining volunteers up at 5:30. The parade starts sharply at 6:30pm, but there are road closures, so you need to get there early. The time is still TBD. We will know more specifics on 10/16!

Where: Location for line up will be confirmed shortly

What to bring/wear: If you want to hand out candy you can! No throwing, it needs to be handed out.
